~ Benevolence ~

Assistance is available to those in need and can only be applied for once every six months with a maximum of four times. The assistance includes rent, utilities, medicine, and gasoline. No assistance is given for deposits. Thrift store vouchers are given for clothes, shoes, and household goods. Fire victims are given furniture according to the availability at the stores. Vouchers are also given for the food pantry for those in need of food.

Anyone who needs help must come into the office and fill out an application. They must provide proper identification and proof of the bill. All applications are subject to the approval by the benevolence director for each site.

Got Food? Food Pantry and Benevolence Center SOUTH is open Tuesday–Friday from 11am to 2pm, and we do applications for Food Boxes on Monday and Friday only. You must live in Marshall County to receive help from our center. We require a picture ID and proof of residence.
